06 — Our expertise
Rope access work
Our rope access work in Quebec is performed by certified industrial rope technicians for work at height and difficult-access work, without scaffolding or lifts.
When scaffolding, aerial platforms or conventional access methods are not suitable, rope access work makes it possible to intervene efficiently in hard-to-reach locations. Construction & Expertise PG has a multidisciplinary team of certified rope access technicians, drillers and work-at-height specialists.
Our crews carry out inspections, repairs and various specialized tasks on industrial structures, buildings, equipment and rock faces. Rope access techniques reduce temporary installations, speed up mobilization and allow precise work in areas that would otherwise be difficult to reach.
PG offers inspection of steel structures at height, industrial equipment inspection, mesh installation, manual or mechanical scaling and drilling at height. Our rope access technicians also take part in rock face stabilization and in interventions that present particular risks.
We also provide confined space attendant and rescue services to support crews working in tanks, ducts, excavations or other spaces with access constraints. Every mandate is prepared with a detailed work method, a risk analysis and the appropriate safety equipment.

Frequently asked questions
When is rope access better than scaffolding?+
When access is occasional, on a rock face, in a silo or stack, or above operating equipment: industrial rope technicians cut setup time, production stoppages and overall cost.
Are your rope technicians certified?+
Yes. Our crews hold recognized work-at-height and rescue certifications, with a site-specific rescue plan and supervision by a qualified team lead.
Do you perform drilling at height and mesh installation?+
Yes. We carry out drilling at height, anchor installation, protective mesh installation and rock face scaling on difficult-access sites.
Can you work in confined spaces?+
Yes. We deliver high-risk confined space work with atmospheric monitoring, entry permits and an on-site confined space rescue team.
